London On-Water Yacht & Boat Show is announced in association with YachtWorld

Due to its popularity with visitors and exhibitors last year, the St Katherine Docks on-water element of the London Yacht, Jet & Prestige Car Show has become a larger, standalone show for 2016.

Supported by YachtWorld.com, the new London On-Water Yacht & Boat Show has already attracted many leading names of the luxury sail and leisure boat industry’s to display in the Central Basin of St Katherine Docks, with several topline exhibitors choosing to premier new boats for 2016. This year there will also be an entirely new section of luxury brokerage craft from top UK brokers in the adjoining West Basin.

Peter Bryant, event director, outlined the rationale for the new event. He said, “Last year’s show received such a lot of positive attention that it became clear that the St Katharine Docks On-Water Exhibition could be opened up to an even wider audience as a stand-alone show.

“Our London Yacht, Jet and Prestige Car show at nearby Old Billingsgate continues to grow, and complimentary transportation for all visitors will be provided between the two locations during the three days of May 4^th to 6^th when both shows are open; the London On-Water Show will also be open on Saturday 7^th May at St Katharine Docks.

"While there is a commonality of audiences interested in buying luxury products and thus visiting both of our shows, we felt that exhibitors and visitors required separate and dedicated marketing and messaging. We will be marketing both events through top London hotels, member clubs, yacht clubs, over 60 media partners and city financial institutions to attract the appropriate audience.”

The Glider SS18 and Discovery 58 will be among the event’s exclusive premiers, with top UK yachting brands such as Sunseeker, Princess, Fairline, Gunfleet and Spirit also exhibiting.

The new set up has allowed the show to grow to twice its previous size, with exhibitions taking place across St Katherine Docks’ Central Basin, West Basin and Marble Quay, where there will be a further luxury tender and RIB exhibit ashore.
