Mangusta Yachts announces the sale of entry level superyacht GranSport 33

Italy-based shipyard Mangusta Yachts has announced the sale of its 33.3-metre (109-foot) entry level superyacht Mangusta GranSport 33 to an American owner.

The news comes just two months after the yacht’s official world preview at the Miami Yacht Show (February 14th- 18th).

Francesco Frediani, Mangusta’s commercial director, said, “This sale confirms that our project – developed with a strong focus on achieving a perfect combination of design and state-of-the-art technology – is interesting and attractive.

“We were counting on its success, but were nonetheless surprised by how fast we moved from the presentation stage – through renderings and videos – to actually securing the deal. In any sale, success always stems from the combination of the right product, an owner who literally falls in love with it, and a highly professional team. In this specific case, our gratitude also goes to our USA area manager Stefano Arlunno.”

The Mangusta Gransport line, pencilled by Alberto Mancini, has been designed by the Overmarine Group with the vision of achieving high-speed performances and a long range at cruising speed, whilst also maintaining maximum comfort on board.

She features a wide flybridge which includes a sunbathing area, a bar and a living area, allowing for the owner and his guests to relax while enjoying complete privacy. Another lounge area furnished with a sofa and table is located forward, where a large sunbathing area with a Jacuzzi tub can also be found.

The main deck features a roomy and bright saloon where plenty of natural light floods in through numerous high-ceiling windows. The galley can be found adjacent to the saloon, allowing for crew to serve guests as efficiently as possible. The master stateroom is located on the main deck, to ensure the owner enjoys unmatched privacy and natural bright light. The lower deck can accommodate four guest cabins, for which several configurations are available.

The yard revealed Overmarine Group’s interiors department is already working jointly with the owner on the layout definition and customisation, along with the selection of furniture, furnishings, and décor details.

The Mangusta GranSport 33 is powered by an innovative propulsion system that allows her to reach a maximum speed of 26 knots.

She has a scheduled delivery date of 2020.
