Sale announcement of new Amels 60 superyacht

Amels and Damen Yachting has announced the sale of the Amels 60 (6004) new build yacht. The luxury 60-metre (196-foot) superyacht is scheduled to be delivered to her owner for Autumn 2023.

First introduced in 2019, the Amels 60 saw the first two hulls selling within a few months of the launch. This will now be the fourth hull to be delivered from the new generation of Amels Limited Editions, after gathering a large interest following the initial launch.

With an impressive exterior design by Espen Øino, this 60-metre (196-foot) yacht boasts a large sun deck, swim platform and folding owner’s suite balcony, jacuzzi, storage for a 9-metre tender and a helipad. It also features a chic and contemporary interior, with a generous volume of 830 GT.

Its hybrid power and propulsion technology also ensure fuel efficiency and reduced emissions.

Working closing with Denison Yachting during the sale, Jan van Hogerwou, Damen Yachting’s commercial executive, said “We are delighted to have sold the Amels 6004. The sale reflects the strong market reception to this new Amels Limited Editions design, supported by the fact that an owner can step into a new build, make some customisations and yet still benefit from delivery in just two years. It has been a pleasure to work with the team at Denison Yachting for this new Amels’ client and we are very much looking forward to seeing the build come together and delivering her to her owner in 2023.”
