With the demand for yacht transport rapidly expanding in the Caribbean, Sevenstar Yacht Transport is has announced its new Caribbean Leeward Islands representative Simon Manley who will be based in St. Martin.
Amongst others the Leeward Islands consist of the British and US Virgin Islands and the French West Indies. Sevenstar is one of the leaders in the industry of yacht transport, and specialises in lift-on/lift-off (LO/LO) yacht transport services offered by a fleet of over 120 ships wholly owned and operated by Amsterdam-based parent company Spliethoff Group.
Richard Klabbers, managing director at Sevenstar Yacht Transport commented, “We are happy to have Simon join our team. Simon will be working closely with the Amsterdam head office of Sevenstar Yacht Transport and will start on time for the approaching season in the year where yachts will start to turn their attention towards their return across to the Med or the USA."
Simon's company Shore Support was founded in 2009 before he already had 15 years’ experience as the Caribbean manager of one of the largest yacht charter companies. It is this background and technical knowledge that sets Simon apart from the competition.
