Italian yard CRN has provided a construction update on its 62-metre (203-foot) superyacht currently referred to as Hull 138.
The yacht was sold to an unnamed client in January 2018 and has been designed in partnership with Omega Architects.
Hull 138 has been photographed leaving its shed after work was completed on the hull and superstructure. The yacht is now moving to a new location to undergo interior outfitting with construction running to schedule for delivery in 2021.
Accommodation will be for up to 16 guests, which consists of a double owner’s suite and six additional cabins on the lower deck, and there will be plentiful dining and lounge spaces on board. According to the yard, a large number of windows throughout “add a real immediacy to the experience of the sea and the coast, in celebration of this vessel’s intrepid explorer spirit”.
The design boasts sleek and sporty exterior lines in line with Omega’s typical styling, while the interior décor will be overseen by Italian design firm Pulina DNA. A vertical bow maximises the interior space available.
In a release, CRN noted that the new custom yacht “skilfully combines the infinitely large – huge size and impressive performances – and the infinitely small, in the form precious, functional details”.
