Ticketing now open to Virtual Nautic 2021

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, and the cancellation of most boat shows, the Fédération des Industries Nautiques (FIN) decided to launch Virtual Nautic, a major virtual event to bring together the boating community. Professionals and stakeholders of the marine leisure industry responded positively to the project. Thanks to them, on 12th and 13th March, over one thousand professionals will be brought together, with 25,000 to 30,000 visitors expected to attend this new and interactive show.

Access to Virtual Nautic is free of charge for visitors, who are invited to register now at Virtual Nautic.

Ticket holders will then receive a link to download an application on their computer, which will enable them to create their avatar and access the exhibition virtual world on the day of the event. The avatar will allow visitors to move around the show using their keyboard, to wander from stand to stand in the halls, and above all, to voice chat with exhibitors or share documents.

“We wanted to reproduce the real world as much as possible. That’s why we will also provide in a few days a catalogue of the exhibitors and an appointment-scheduling tool. Each avatar, exhibitor and visitor will be an important part of Virtual Nautic,” said Alain Pichavant, director of Nautic Festival, FIN’s boat show organisation subsidiary.

Virtual Nautic is an opportunity to meet professionals, whether they are sailboat or motorboat manufacturers, equipment suppliers, engine manufacturers, or charter companies. Several new sailboats, motorboats and catamarans will be presented for the first time during these two days.

Among the 150 booths, around 30 French tourist destinations from the north to the south of France, both maritime-related or river-related, will also be represented.

“With 18,000 kilometres of coastline and 8,500 kilometres of navigable inland waterways, its presence on all oceans, France offers dozens of nautical activities and thousands of sites for all ages and all tastes. We are pleased with this strong territorial presence,” announced Fabien Métayer, general delegate of the FIN.
